A Walk-In Wellbeing Clinic on campus!

This is a joint project between the Psychology and the Social Work Clinics.

The Social Work Walk-In Clinic will provide FREE brief Solution-Focused interventions and support to parents facing child/youth mental health and/or behavioural challenges.

We will be accepting clients on a walk-in basis every Thursday 1-5pm for the next 4 Thursdays (until the end of Nov).

While this is primarily for parents who work/study at UBC Okanagan campus, it is NOT limited to this group. Every parent is welcome! The clinics take place at UBC Okanagan’s Interprofessional Clinic, room ASC167, every Thursday until the end of November. Participants will have a 30-minute, confidential session with a graduate student clinician—supervised by a registered psychologist or licensed social worker—with no appointment necessary. People can drop-in, or call 250-807-8241 and press 1 for reception, to determine if there is a wait time.
