THE FACULTY OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IS PLEASED TO PRESENT
A panel presentation with guest speakers Dr. Deborah Saucier, Dr. Erin Prosser-Loose & Dr. Shanthi Johnson. Topics discussed will consider issues such as: Have both sex and gender been considered and should they? Is the research question offered in a spirit of respect for Indigenous people, as well as ethical guidance? Are elements of societal understanding of ageing lost when older adult immigrants are overlooked in community research? Faculty, staff and the community interested in increasing diversity in science and advancing unrepresented persons in academic research are invited to attend.
