Three Schools, One Team

The critical health challenges of our day transcend disciplines.

And, our ability to address them depends on health professionals working collaboratively to bring our combined experiences, expertise, and knowledge to the questions of our time. The Faculty of Health and Social Development assumes its responsibilities at the centre of dialogue and activity, leading an ethical approach to creating positive changes in well-being.

The Faculty of Health and Social Development is home to active programs of research and scholarship focused on some of the most challenging health and social issues facing Canadians. Faculty-led investigative teams have received national and international attention for their research on a range of topics and have attracted an impressive record of funding.

Our current research projects reflect the use of diverse research approaches, the opportunities for research within and across disciplines, and our commitment to excellence in research.
