Postdoctoral Fellow Awards
- ELIGIBILTY: Masters or PhD students/Postdoctoral fellows enrolled or employed during that academic year
- AMOUNT: non-monetary
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: late January annually
- ELIGIBILITY: Postdocs who have graduated from a non-UBC PhD program no more than 24 months prior to the anticipated fellowship start date
- AMOUNT: $50,000/year for 2 years, $4,000 travel and research allowance
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: pre-applications due August 25, 2025
- ELIGIBILITY: full-time Postdocs whose appointment is at least 12 months in length as of the closing date of the application
- AMOUNT: $5,000
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 13, 2025
- ELIGIBILITY: Postdocs working in health research, natural sciences/engineering, or social sciences/humanities
- AMOUNT: $70,000/year for 2 years
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: End of April annually
- ELIGIBILITY: Masters (including course-based programs), PhD students and postdoctoral fellows presenting scholarly work at a conference
- AMOUNT: up to $4,000
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31 annually
- ELIGIBILITY: Domestic or International Postdoctoral fellows who have completed their doctorate degree in the past 3 years
- AMOUNT: $70,000 per year for up to 2 years
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 11, 2025 (SSHRC); September 17, 2025 (CIHR); October 17 (NSERC)
